Hello! I’m Alexandra Marie Rovirosa, known most commonly as “Ally”. I am twenty years old and the oldest of ten children. At this time we are living in Kansas City, MO, and on deputation raising support to serve as missionaries to Cuba.
My interests:
I love to Read: Ever since I was four I have been obsessed with reading. My mom says I am the only one she knows who will read the Yellow Pages when there is nothing else to read around
. Besides the Bible, of course, my favorite things to read are Christian Historical/Women’s fiction (Beverly Lewis, Cathy Marie Hake, Judith Miller and Janette Oke are some of my favorites), and classics, Charles Dickens landing number one here, followed by Jane Austen.
I also love writing, and have just recently begun serious work on a full-fledged CBA novel.
Music is another passion, whether playing the piano, singing soprano, or listening to one of my many sacred classical, or film soundtrack CD’s. I love music!
Other interests include sewing (costume reproduction is my newest hobby), scrapbooking, cooking/baking, and helping teach my younger siblings.
More about me:
-I was saved at the age of four
-I am a sanguine/melancholy
-I love people and being around people. I love to make people laugh and spending time with the family and special friends the Lord has given me.
-I am a “daddy’s girl”
-My spiritual gift is Mercy
-My “life” verse is Psalms 27:8
-I am a “hopeless romantic”
-My “Love Language” is Physical Touch
-My favorite colors are pink and brown, with lime green, orange and turquoise close behind
-I graduated from home school in 2006, and I am using this time before marriage to prepare to be a wife and mother.
-I am very conservative and very patriotic!
-I am waiting for my own Superman to come and sweep me off my feet, and until he does I am waiting for him and him alone. Because of this, courtship and emotional purity have become some of my passions as well.
The Lord has done so much in my life this far. In 2007 he gave us the opportunity to serve in Merida, Mexico for a year. It was a wonderful experience and we were blessed to get to know the people of Mexico.
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone better on this blog, and I am praying that the Lord will encourage you just as he has encouraged me with so many blogs in the past.
Talk later!
