Coming Soon…1995 and 2005 P&P Comparisons!
Hey, y’all!
15 years ago I saw the 1995 Pride and Prejudice. Barely remember anything other than it was very long and I fell asleep in the middle of it. (Gimme a break, I was six. 
) So I rented it this week and Mom and I plan to watch it this weekend.
Now, as most everyone knows, I love the 2005 version. Soooo I am going to watch this just to see if the 1995 version is all its cracked up to be (and if Colin Firth is truly Mr. Divine…er, Darcy. From the pics I’ve seen I think he can’t hold a candle to Matthew McFayden’s version. But I’m not going to say anything until I’ve seen it and give him a chance).
During the BBC’s race to make all the Austen novels Kaye Dacus made a fun side-by-side comparison of the different versions of Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility and Emma. So I thought it would be fun to have my own version. After I watch the film I’m going to make a side-by-side comparison of the principal characters in the film and the film in general. I think it will be fun!
