Happy Birthday, Joey!!!

Yesterday was Ignacio Josiah’s 5th birthday! Actually, Joe doesn’t know it, since his party isn’t until tomorrow and he can’t quite fathom the “it’s my birthday but we’re not celebrating it yet” concept.

But, he is now five, whether or not heknows it! He’s gone from one of the most adorable babies I’ve ever seen to an absolutely adorable little boy, obsessed with trains, drawing, dinosaurs, and the solar system, a little guy who loves to cuddle and shower affection on everyone, who never fails to give me a hug and a “I love you, sis!” in the morning. Walking by his room at naptime is hazardous, since it’s more than likely that he’ll start to yell “I want one more kiss, sis!”
Love you, buddy. Have a great party, and yes, T-Rex had very large claws, and no, they’re not alive anymore and yes, Jupiter has sixty-three moons and no, we can’t go see them and yes, Christmas is coming and no, it’s not tomorrow.
